Inspection Leading to Improvement: Business Year 2010-2011

Summary

The Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) published recently an annual report 'Inspection Leading to Improvement: Business Year 2010-11.' The report confirms that inspection is a very powerful catalyst for improvement and for the fostering of a culture of self-evaluation across all phases in education. As raising standards and achievements are central to current educational policies, the Inspectorate looks forward to continuing to make a significant contribution to ‘raising the bar - and closing the achievement gap’, in the very best interests of children, young people and adult learners across our education, youth and training sectors.
