The Education and Training Inspectorate was commissioned by the Department for the Economy to evaluate the extent the Step Up Project in the six further education colleges is supporting learners re-engage with education, achieve and progress to further education, training or employment.

During October 2024, inspectors evaluated the provision for the Step Up Project in each of the six further education colleges.
