Joint Evaluation Report Department of Education and Skills Inspectorate - Republic of Ireland Educaton and Training Inspectorate - Northern Ireland Dissolving Boundaries Programme 2010/2011

The programme aims to:

• Engage pupils in collaborative, curricular-based projects;

• Promote mutual understanding through collaborative, cross-border links; and

• Promote sustainability of the use of technology in schools.

In June 2010, following a meeting of the North-South Ministerial Council’s Sectoral Education Committee both DE and DES agreed to commission a joint evaluation of the Dissolving Boundaries Programme by the Education and Training Inspectorate and the DES Inspectorate. The evaluation was completed in the Autumn of 2011.
