The report summarises the findings of an evaluation by the Education and Training Inspectorate of level 3 work on the National Qualifications Framework in the priority skills areas of computing and information and communications technology, construction and the built environment, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical and manufacturing. The colleges’ provision of priority skill area programmes funded by the Department for Employment and Learning under Apprenticeships NI programme was not included in the evaluation. The evaluation took place during the second and third terms of the 2009/2010 academic year.
