Sure Start Report 2020-21

Since 2016 the Education and Training inspectorate (ETI) has been commissioned by the Department of Education to undertake annual evaluations of Sure Start.
During 2020-21, the ETI will be engaging with Sure Start providers with a focus on the challenges, barriers and successes of projects in adapting their planning and delivery of services to children and families in response to COVID-19; a thematic report will publish later in the year.
Information to inform the thematic report will be gathered through questionnaire responses from all 38 Sure Start projects and discussions with: key staff, including a sample of project leaders within each region; and a focus group of parents.
